The goal is to complete the necessary work by 2029-30 to meet three needs:
- To be able to offer students rooms that meet the housing standards of students in the neighbourhood.
- To provide each of SanLo’s missions with sufficient space, according to their needs and taking into account future developments, all in complete safety.
- Opening up to the outside world by creating additional reception areas that allow for permeability between SanLo and the outside world, in addition to the church. For example, the creation of a ‘café’ open to visitors and small apartments for families and/or young professionals.

PHASE 0 – EMERGENCIES
Continue to launch social activities, secure all premises and prepare for the future
- Creation of the Professional Integration Centre (PIC) and medical office
- Refurbishment and renovation of community spaces
- Structural, electrical and network studies and compliance with standards
- Creation of new rooms for students in the space currently in use
PHASE 1 – LAST
Improve the attractiveness of the residence for students, establish community life
- Renovate the student rooms currently in use
- Renovate the brothers’ and sisters’ rooms
- Redesign the common areas on the ground floor of the main building to allow for more light and better circulation
PHASE 2 – DEVELOPING NEW CAPABILITIES
Renovate the part of the main building facing the street
- Create 40 rooms to modern standards
- Create a conference room
- Create flats for young professionals and families to share
PHASE 3 – OPENING UP TO THE CITY
Expanding the contact surface, reaching more young people and families
- Creation of a Café Project as a place of openness to the outside world
- Renovation of the Paulinho building for temporary accommodation
- Refurbishment of classrooms and recreation rooms for street children
